...Atheism is NOT an ideology, but rather the absence thereof…yet many believe in this absence, with all their hearts.

Don't mean to be too picky, but Atheism actually is an absence of theology not ideology. An Atheist can have an ideology without having a theology (which is the basis of all "Divinity based philosophies"). For example, Buddhists are basically atheist because of the absence of a divinity in their philosophy, yet they are very ideological in their beliefs.

Which raises the question does a religion have to embrace a theology, or just an ideology?
