Maybe you need to use the entire title in the search,but I don't know. I've never posted threads,so I'm not sure exactly how it works.
Aside from tampons, the lowly condom helps to keep out water from firearms. So I read.
There are actually two searches, the first is a quick search. When your first search returns no results, you'll find yourself in a new, slightly different search screen.
Search again to go way back in time...that should have found the earlier posts!
To be honest, I missed seeing this in December...it's a good story, and I'm glad Paula posted it again!

Everywhere but here at the FReep. Michelle Malkin did a column on the letter in "The Washington Times" and her Blog. Blackfive posted the letter first. Michelle and Captain's Quarters picked it up and ran with it.
I guess the Army and Marines are running short of "Rice Paddy Daddies". Who never went out into the bush without a few Tampons or pads tucked away somewhere in their ruck for bullet or shrapnel wounds.
I've sent out a few Care Packages with these 'items' and others to the guys and gals in the 'Stan and Sandbox. However they get used. They'll get used.
