I don't think the Cowboys would agree with your assessment of Terrell Owens. I don't think it was a twinkle in his eye that he was trying to show us when he danced on the star in the middle of Texas Stadium. Yeh, he's just a good ole boy having some fun!!!

"Some people are too stupid to have long careers (some defensive back will some day repay him)."

Your comment reminds me of Brian Bosworth. Mr. Moss, there is an object lesson there.

You know, I haven't seen that Staples commercial with the "rubber band" man wheeling around the office supply cart for quite a while. I thought the guy quit. Now, when I saw Moss baby with his helmet off, I knew where he went. Who'd thunk he went to (Minnesota's version of) pro football?

...there's nothing better than rubbing it in their faces while we're taking it to 'em...

That's the very definition of childish. There is something better than rubbing it in their faces: acting like a man.

I don't mind celebrations..I don't mind dancing..but what moss did was bad..I was watching the game today with my seven year old son..who loves the NFL..like I did when I was his age..and I had to explain something my father did not have to explain to me..he wanted to know what the receiver was doing.. I said it was a bad thing..moss could have danced..he could have pointed at the score board.but he should not have done that..I don't want legislation outlawing that..but I wish he had more common sense than he showed today..my two cents..(yes..I liked Billy White Shoes Johnson..Deion Sanders TD dance..Thomas Henderson's goal slam dunk..Butch Johnson's six gun shooter)..

Hehehe... that wasn;t exactly painless for him.

I only wish one of the Pack's D-line had pummeled ol' mop-head after he dishonored Lambeau.

I would agree for everyone to lighten up. It's not like he actually dropped trowell or anything. My 5 year old daughter "fake moons" me all of the time.

I was more taken aback earlier by my uncanny ability to lip read while he was jawing with the fans.

You can take the boy out of the gutter - but it's real tough taking the gutter out of the boy. What a low-life sleazoid.

6 figures and a 3 game suspension is in order.

Never happen, the players union would protect Moss like he has the secret to life.

The NFL will probably hit him with a fine, but even that might be contested.

Suspensions are very very rare for game actions, Moss could drop kick somone and not get suspended.

"That would cure this kind of stuff once and for all."

Hey, it's a concept! Let's give it a try for a season, like the "instant replay" thing=y. Hard to quantify, but that didn't stop them on the replay.

As for the celebrations, there should be no ban on excessive celebration in the NFL it just adds to the flavor of the game...lighten up old timers!

See, that's why football is an inferior sport. The very same player who did such a classless thing would be the first to scream bloody murder if a player from the opposing team came over and cold-cocked him during the demonstration.

You don't see this kind of celebration in hockey, because (at least pre-instigator-rule) the same players you were taunting would beat your a** at the drop of the next puck. The proper punishment for T.O. putting the ball down on the star at the 50-yard line in Dallas (and I hate the Cowboys) would be for a nice big Dallas linebacker to go over and grind his face into mush.

This is what has happened to modern society. A person can be as offensive as they want (so long as it is toward a non-liberal interest, of course) without facing the slightest consequence whatsoever. And after he calls the other player's mother a whore, he'll sue if the other player righteously knocks him out.

The duel of honor is a sadly neglected art. And the wussifying of America continues...

everyone needs to lighten up. This was done all in good competition. Anyone who has been to a Vikes game when they're playing the Packers knows, there's nothing better than rubbing it in their faces while we're taking it to 'em. As for the celebrations, there should be no ban on excessive celebration in the NFL it just adds to the flavor of the game...lighten up old timers!

This has nothing to do with celebrating a touchdown. This was a classless and childlish display of poor sportsmanship by Moss. He deserves to be fined heavily for his premeditated act that was embarrassing for the NFL.

No, just have his team forfeit the game. That would cure this kind of stuff once and for all.

I doubt Green Bay would want a win like that, and its a pretty safe bet, that if that happened, the NFL would become a joke.

Sadly, having class isn't a requirement in the NFL, but the league needs to talk to the union and put some harder rules in place.

Oh, c'mon! That was great!! HAR!!
Trust me, you people in Texas (including my in-laws who live in North Dallas) were the only people in the country who didn't laugh!

Hsy, I love the "rubber band man" commercials--

I do not love Moss---but unfortunately, nothing will happen to him. The league won't do anything, but I hope someone on the Eagles does. The Eagles know all about bounty bowls!

In the NFL paybacks are a real beeitch. Moss will have to go across the middle at Lambeau next year. He will pay. Boy will he pay.
