Here's the video:Moss video. I loved it when Bart Simpson mooned the Australian government, and I laughed when Moss mooned the crowd at Lambeau. I don't think it was that bad. If he had really pulled his pants down, then people could complain about it, I suppose. But he didn't, he just wiggled his butt in the direction of the obnoxious fans at Lambeau. I'm not a fan of either team, but I know how it feels to finally beat someone obnoxious at their home field, and I don't think what he did was out of line. There are a lot worse things that don't get this kind of attention.

"So, if my daughter shakes her fanny at me while we're playing, you suggest I flog her? Or what would you do, oh wise one?"

As you may have gathered, I have no desire to be the wind beneath your wings. But I will offer some insight, since you asked. I have never "flogged" any of my children, but not one of them would ever think of "fake mooning" me. I am an adult with authority over them; I am not their peer. Act like a parent, and you just might get the respect typically afforded to a parent.

You might also investigate the source of your daughter's lewd behavior. If she is permitted to watch trash such as the Disney Channel or Nickelodeon on television, or is sent off to the daycare or government school gulag, she is probably reflecting what you are providing. Fire the television, and either homeschool or find a decent private school, preferably a Christian school. If it's not TV or daycare, you need to take a hard look at other potential bad influences, and eliminate them no matter the cost.

Of course, if you consider such behavior acceptable, or even "cute", just keep doing what you're doing now. So what if society gets a little more coarse? It's the easiest thing to do.

Thank you for the clarification.

I now know that you are an idiot, and shall now ignore you.

Couldnt agree with you more about your posts on this thread. The juvenile, fantasy projections of many on these sports threads often make me embarrased to be a Freeper.

It's a tough thing to argue about with people whose only impression of Terrell comes from what they see on their TVs (especially as he is dismantling their teams' defense and scoring touchdowns).

Luckily, Pittsburgh didn't give him the opportunity...

Tony Dungy offers some insight:

Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy said he saw Moss' action and, ``I thought it was kind of humorous.'' ``It's not the kind of thing you want to see on national TV, but I understand what it was all about,'' he said. ``Anyone who has played in the NFC Central knows what that's about. The fans in Green Bay have a tradition in the parking lot after the game where they moon the visiting team's bus,'' he said. ``It's kind of a unique send-off.'' ``I had seen it seven times because when I was with the Vikings, we lost to them seven times up there,'' he said.

I hope this puts this all into perspective. Of course, those fans aren't "thugs" - only certain parts of the population can be a "thug".
