This is an attempt (half-assed, I'll admit) at historical revisionism by the comPost.

If you'll recall, about a year (maybe a little less) before this past election the Left took a suddenly different dynamic in it's approach to the Bush record by engaging in wholesale attempts at rewriting history, both recent and more distant.

Listening to these guys on the tube, reading them in the papers - the audacity of the whole thing was at the time breathtaking in its scope and utter boldness.

The MSM, of course, did nothing to correct the record, invariably letting the accusations slide (if not actively encouraging them!)

The good news is, the New Media grows stronger and more influential by the day. It is these people and these outlets that will provide us, and the nation, with great entertainment in the next 4 years.

The day has finally come when the likes of the Post find they can no longer get away with these shenanigans.

BTW I'm glad you and other posters had the perspicacity to pick up on that little tidbit.
