I heard the report on Fox that the US was letting the UN take the lead in relief work. We've got them down with our combat boots on their scrawny, corrupt necks, and we're letting them up? I don't get it.

I haven't seen the details. Maybe it's just a cosmetic sop. All the people DELIVERING the aid should be Americans, wearing American uniforms. The people who are getting help should know where that aid is coming from
