She also wrote that the couple had "experienced insults" related to their jobs, and she criticized President Bush for the war in Iraq and other things.

I knew it. It's Bush's fault.

Somehow or another, everything is Bush's fault.

They sound a touch kooky.

Maybe they should seek professional help before they make any more rash decisions.

If you ever got on the opposite side of a political issue, they'd talk until they wore you down."

Well, since they blame Bush for everything it's obvious we are on opposite sides of the table and they could talk until they were blue in the face but I can tell ya they NEVER would have changed my mind. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER.

Long live George W. Bush

Self-deliverance? Too bad they never sought beyond themselves for deliverance.

And as to the Bush reference....can you imagine how small their world must have been?

"Liberals" no doubt - makes one wonder what means they used to end their lives? Of course, they probably had no firearms - so it must have been other means.

All we can ask is for you to respect our choice and understand this was something we both felt so strong about."

If they were so very smart, then why did they say they felt so strong about it instead of the correct word: strongly? Answer? Because they weren't so smart, they just thought they were.

Eh they used their illnesses as copouts.
If Kerry was President elect right now, those two would still be taking up oxygen.
Should check out DUers sympathetic response to these miscreants

"the two "were both very, very smart debaters. If you ever got on the opposite side of a political issue, they'd talk until they wore you down.""

I think what was probably happening is that the folks on the other side realized they were hopeless and left.

You know, no matter how bad I perceive the political climate around me, the LAST thing I would think about is offing myself. Politics isn't worth killing yourself over. I feel sad for these people, they got so caught up in voting that the rest of their life ment nothing else.

Lol, when it comes to liberals, everything is his fault.

Jmo, but if they were well enough to plan this whole thing, then I think they were healthy enough to keep plugging along.

Umm . . . Or until they committed suicide, whichever came first.

Put it this way, they wouldn't have worn many Freepers down!
