Redondo Beach Pre-Rally Action Report
Posted on 01/02/2005 7:45:37 PM PST by occutegirl
In preparation for the January, 15, 2005 rally in Redondo Beach several members of Save Our State went to Redondo to pass out flyers and make local businesses aware of the event. Most were interested and supportive.

Only one question...
who's the nut in shorts when a winter storm is due?
:) Sounds like your trip was productive. What was the reception of the people in Redondo? Can we expect to see some locals turn out for the party?
To: occutegirl
Please forgive my ignorance. I live just down the street (South Redondo area) and I don't know anything about this event. Could you please post some details? I'm assuming this has something to do with the illegal alien dayworker problem?
Please give details. Thanks

I hate to keep bothering you, but that domain does not resolve. Is it a brand new registration? Maybe it will work tomorrow...
Thanks.

Whoops! Never mind. See what a glass of cab will do for you? I cut and pasted your URL without noticing that you had an extra 'W' in front. HA!

I've added it to my calendar (MLK's birthday no less). I'll bring my whole family!

who's the nut in shorts when a winter storm is due? Those are long shorts. The short shorts are for summer.

Only a Southern considers a 50% chance of rain a "winter storm."

If you
check the average yearly temperature for the area, you'll find that it's usually at least 25 degrees (F) above freezing on the day in question. The chance of snow is 0% (never in my lifetime and I'm a native).

Those are long shorts. The short shorts are for summer. So Cal winter storms...yes, long shorts and ugg boots... lol
Looking forward to meeting both of you on the 15th!

Sorry for being so verbose this evening (see what a glass of wine will do for you?). I couldn't resist this link to a pic on occutegirl's site. I laugh every time I drive by it on the 405.
This is a real warning sign that is intended to alert motorists to be on the lookout for illegals crossing the freeway on their way here.
