Until a thief steals the mans fishing pole. Instead of fishing and becoming more prosperous, the man taught to fish will have to make or buy a new pole. Either way, crime has made him a little bit poorer.
You've obviously been a victim of crime time and time again which has resulted in your own perceived poverty, so rest assured, we GET it.
