The picture of a father grieving over his young son told me all I needed to know.

I am fairly stoic. The agony on that father's face was raw...I don't cry usually, but that one hit me as a parent. I doubt we will ever know his name, or the name of the child he lost, but nothing else is needed to put a 'human' face on the suffering going on there.

I don't know how took the picture either, but it will be revisited for generations.
