So slowing the earth's rotation bt 3 microseconds means that in a million years a day will be 3 seconds shorter.
We should all be very worried about this.

Not about the time but penatrating the core and make a tiny , slight change to a perfect machine. That kind of stuff.

Sorry, but you're off by a factor of 1000. "Micro" means 1/1000. Still, 1000 times almost nothing is still almost nothing! ;-)
No it means in a million years, the total angle traveled by the earth will be 3 x 10^-6 seconds x 10^6 years x 365.25 days/year x 360 degrees/day x 1day/86400 = ~4.6 degrees greater or about an additional eighth of a revolution. The effect on the length of day will still be 0.000003 seconds per day. (I have ignored the difference between sideral and mean solar days for simplicity. No freepmail please.)

We're doomed, absolutely doomed!! This means in 333,000 years we'll have to set our clocks ahead one whole second. How will humanity get everything done without that second? Democrats will try to set up a Senate Subcomitte with 28 consultants and a $5 million budget to study this troubling development.
