Father Of 'Naughty' Kids Sells Their Gifts On eBay
HOUSTON -- A father of three children in the Houston area has gone from playing Santa Claus to playing the Grinch.
The man decided that his children were being naughty instead of nice -- and he's taught them a lesson by auctioning their presents on eBay.
The man, who asked the Houston Chronicle not to reveal his name, decided to sell off the presents because the youngsters had misbehaved. His children are 9, 11 and 15.
His posting on the eBay Web site says, "Bad children get no Nintendo DS. Santa will skip our house this year."
The man is offering to sell three of the wireless video game systems as well as several games.
The bidding was up to $465 as the auction wound down last night.

Maybe he bought them on ebay.
Either way, he does not have to stand in line, fight traffic and be told by a rude clerk that they will only give you an in store credit since there is no receipt.
If the games were a hot item he can make some bucks selling them
His kids will have such interesting Christmas memories.

I don't know. It's sounds a bit too much like Joan Crawford giving her kids' presents away on Christmas morning. The kids will either learn a lesson from this or they'll still be complaining about it 20 years from now.
I don't believe this for a moment. I'm betting he's promised to get the kids new DS's when they are reshipped in January. It's not coincidental that Nintendo DS's are selling on ebay for upwards of $400 because they're not available at retail any longer. This guy could have returned them to the store...they would have loved to have them.

Oh please! Thats ridiculous IF he is really selling their toys. I think its a Christmas ploy to sell and everyone is buying it (excuse the pun).
If he is trying to teach them a lesson he could have picked other ways to do it like give the gift to a NEEDY family at this time of year.
LOL! I've been known to tell our kids that if they aren't good, Santa Claus will give their presents to the poor children!
I'm looking forward to the boys' opening their carpentry tools tomorrow. If it's not snowing, they can go right outside and start building the pergola!
