Oregon Coast - The state's parks and recreation commission last week approved a scaled back version of its plan for protecting Western snowy plover habitat along Oregon's sandy beaches, but it wasn't enough to satisfy officials in affected counties, including Tillamook.

All they did was cut a few miles off. What is really interesting is the comments by the county commisioner in the last paragraph. "They'd have a hard time convincing me thry didn't plant some of those birds on the beaches," a skeptical Hurliman said last week. Another Lynx Hair type corrupt biology department.

Let me know if you wish to be added or removed from this list.
I don't get offended if you want to be removed.

Here is a link from the
Times-Standard about north coast beaches.
This is a big chuck of our coastal recreation area here in Humboldt County.

We have a crisis here in Nebraska with the Piping Plover. Each nest must be marked with yellow tape around the nest to keep the human species away. Of course Mr. Raccoon does not realize the significance of this and devours his favorite omelet. It has been found after exhaustive research that the Plover flies from one area to an area more to his liking. Fishermen beware, Mr. Plover, it has shown likes the sandy beaches the same as you. Since you are higher on the food chain, you are expected to make way for the Plover family.
