We thank you for supporting the state." Azzam smiled. "Yes," he said. "I suffered because I am Israeli. And, I am proud to be an Israeli. This is the best country in the world. This is a break from the endless evil of the PA (Philistine Authority). A Druze that suffered for the sake of Israel. I have heard that many Druze support Israel and volunteer to serve in the IDF and are greatly respected. Muslims persecute the Druze, as I understand it.

If you remember recent news about a tunnel blown up under Israeli military check post in Gaza: the killed Israeli soldiers (4 I think), all were Bedouins, not Jews.

Thats right, Tolik! I've read that Bedouins volunteer for the IDF like the Druze.
