Four or five years ago, I med an older gal who was SO happy to be out and about again!
It seems that she had been in an accident and her doctor had put her on Celebrix.
Next thing she knew, she had to take heart medicine..
Then, she got out of breath just walking across the room and was put on breathing treatments.
One day she noticed an ad for Celebrix in Reader's Digest.
Sh got out her magnifying glass and read the FINE print.
Tossed the stuff and was healed!
I just wish they'd do more investigating into blood pressure dope.
I've had too many senior friends lose all cognizance (sp) when put on blood pressure meds.
Some of the BP meds also cause hearing loss. It did in my father-in-law. I've had severe reactions to several drugs..estrogen, celestone, and lodine. BTW estrogen can cause gastro-intestinal distresses like acid reflux to the bowel shutting down in some people...like me.
