MILWAUKEE ...CBS and NBC have decided to pull three ads by Miller Brewing.

The move came after rival Anheuser-Busch filed a 26-page complaint with four major networks on November 2nd, saying nine Miller ads aired since the summer are unsubstantiated and misleading.

Two of the three ads to be pulled had a line of people shouting into a megaphone outside Anheuser-Busch that Miller Lite or Miller Genuine Draft had more flavor or more taste than Bud Light and Budweiser.

The third ad shows a Budweiser delivery person wearing Capri pants entering a bar, which has been airing since mid-October.

Miller...Bud...

Both taste the same to me: Weak, bitter water.

Now excuse me while I get myself another Guinness.

I do like the Budweiser parody commercials with the refs 'confiscating' Bud like in the Miller commercials to have them for themselves though. Very clever.

This beer snob (Blue Moon Belgian White tonight) liked both the Miller commercials, as well as the Bud responses. Can't stand the product, though...

As I watched these ads, my thoughts were: "How juvenile and inane", "who gives a fig. They're both bad beers. I wouldn't buy or drink either one of them.", "They taste like diluted pi$$."

I think that all Miller and Budweiser ads are unsubstantiated and misleading for calling their product beer.
