As long as Israel plays this cat and mouse game with the Muslims, they will eventually wear down and lose.

The only problem is that it's not just one small cats, but many very Big cats and the mouse is very small but very smart. Just going and knocking out the problem makes sense if you are as big as the United States, but when you are Israel and have the U.N. and huge nations against you (the Soviet Union formerly one), you have to be mighty smart.

Figure it like this. Why isn't Egypt, Syria and Jordan attacking Israel right now? The answer - the Palestinians are doing it for them, so they don't have to bother directly.

Also, another thing about Religious persecution (for that is what is happening to Israel), is that those persecuted sometimes get refined and smarter. Such has been the case in Israel for many years. A lesser nation would have fallen long ago.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem - they will prosper that love Thee.

I agree with your post. We simply cannot take on the entire Muslim world at once.

I believe Jordan and Egypt's leaders are sincere about peace. Their population, OTOH, does not support any such notion. Still, the peace treaties have been useful and Jordan, in particular, has helped with apprehending some terrorists trying to infiltrate Israel.

I suppose the above poster blames me. Peace has worked with Egypt for 35 years, so yes, I believe peace with the Arabs, or at least some of them, is possible. That does not mean we EVER let up our guard or become less than vigilant.

What bothers me about the previous poster is his willingness to sacrifice Israeli lives. I notice some Americans are very willing to do that without serving in the IDF. Israelis have no right to tell American where to send soldiers or where sacrifices should be made. We may appreciate many U.S. actions but I would never advise a friend (and the U.S. is a friend) to go to war if it can be avoided.

Fear not, we will not be worn down. We've been fighting this war for 84 years and we haven't worn down yet.

You want to know the real reason Arab nations dare not attack us? It started at Dimona. Our nuclear deterrent prevents all but the truly insane from attacking us. My big fear is that the mullahs in Iran are truly insane.

Typo? Brain lapse? I don't know. I don't seem to have an excuse for you.

LOL ... I don't mind. I LIKE new words. :-). "Explosing." Sounds like a mix of "to explode" and "to expose."
