LOL - In many ways IMO he is more deserving than two of the three that were honored.
Rewarding Tenet with this honor is like giving Jimmie Carter the Nobel Peace Prize. This has to be a joke - right?
Rick Rescorla should be awarded this medal, no question about it.
Bush's judgment leaves a lot to be desired.
Bush 41 honored Ted Kennedy with an award for excellence in gov't service or something like that. That is Bush family judgment and values. Those are their people.
He's pictured on the cover of the 'We Were Soldiers' book. He was part of the battle of the Ia Drang. He then went on to work in security in the World Trade Center and was killed on 9/11 as he made sure to get everybody he could out but died himself.
Yes! I'm embarrassed - He was certainly deserving of this - Didn't remember the name but should have.
