The do nothing grunts on curbside won't work for anything less than $8/hr and those working in construction get $20+/hr.

In each of the fiscal years 2006 through 2010, in addition to the border patrol agents assigned along the northern border of the United States during the previous fiscal year, the Secretary shall assign a number of border patrol agents equal to not less than 20 percent of the net increase in border patrol agents during each such fiscal year.

After reading the first few sentences, I glanced at the name of the author. That's all I needed to know. Tamar Jacoby has written several Open Borders editorials for WaPo, LAT, etc. etc. The ones I've seen contain several lies and/or smears, and I'd imagine this one is no different.
Well Jorge's plan calls for competitive bidding on any job posted for at least two weeks to Americans and after that the whole world can bid on it down to the minimum wage. Them Mexicans who work for $8 will end up unmeployed because I've got some Bangledeshis lined up for $6.
If they got here through Mexico they should be rounded up and deporsted just like all other illegal aliens!
If you hire them you should be arrested, jailed, and fined as should every employer, including private partys hiring at the curb for day work, as current law states.
