Another wake-up call, the kind that spans the ages. Is anyone listening? This is a struggle so long in duration that the undercurrents are very deep and fundamental. This involves two very different kinds of civilizations, one which has come to terms (after a lot of struggle of its own) with the relations between church and state, and one which has not.
The latter cannot hope to coexist with the former unless it abandons its agenda of terror and conquest. In the arena of world affairs, such a civilization must be deterred from this agenda by force, thus the current war. Moreover, immigration policy must change in order to stave off internal disorder. No way around that, no way at all.
Coexistence would be possible if there were absolute geopolitical isolation. But oil, for one thing, makes that impossible.
