I'm unfamiliar with this district but if it is like 90% of congressional districts in this country it is so gerrymandered that only the incumbent party can win it. So with that said beating Drier in a primary, (long shot) won't cost us a seat.
The district is indeed a safe GOP seat. I think it 46% to 32% for Republicans.
