David Stoltzfus says theres only one reason he would take down the photos of President George W. Bush that he has displayed at his Central Market baked-goods stand. Bush would have had to have lost the recent election. Instead, he beat Democratic challenger John Kerry to win a second term. If it were Kerry that won, hed be up there, says Stoltzfus, who operates the Upper Crust stand. Doesnt matter, says City Councilman Nelson Polite. It should come down. This is a public market.

I can't read the article but the last time I looked President Bush's picture was in the "Public" Post Office too.
Does he sell grapes with a tang by any chance?
WTF? How can a picture of the POTUS not be allowed anywhere?
Just wait until these jerks insist that the Presidential profiles are eliminated from our currency. Just a matter of time if you're a liberal, socialist, communist POS. /rant
I like Mr. Zink.
Last time I checked this was still the US, and a store owner can hang any picture he wants in his store. If someone doesn't like it, then don't shop there.
City Councilman Nelson Polite= likely an outsider busybody from Philly who came to the burbs to get away from what he has wrought but doesn't learn.
Results=one shoo-fly pie in the face.
What is your connection to this story and what the heck is really going on in Lancaster? Is it that insane there?

Same site.
I am originally from PA and I have family that lives in the Lancaster/York area My uncle is a huge Bush fan and sent me the link.
Thank you. I just realized that too. But from the original story link I was asked to register to read the story and then somehow I found the same site and no registration was required. Another Al Gore internet mystery strikes.
"WTF? How can a picture of the POTUS not be allowed anywhere?"
He's a Christian.
The Wall Street Journal does me the same way. Sometimes it asks me to register and sometimes it just goes directly to the story.
You are right though, it is Al gore's fault.
I'm not far from Lancaster myself and I'm shocked something like this even happened there. Thank you for posting the story and I hope many on this site view it.
The city of Lancaster is a blue dot in the middle of a solidly red Lancaster county. There are fascists everywhere.
Is there anyone in Lancaster NOT named "Stoltzfus."
"Wooden foot". I love it.
