President Bush and First Lady Laura spent the evening at the Pageant of Peace and lit the National Christmas tree. Earlier in the day, the First Lady gave photographers a tour of the decorations at the White House. Also earlier, the President announced the cabinet appointment of Nebraska Governor Mike Johanns as Sec. of agriculture. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

How cold is it, snugs? I decided today I'm not ready for winter! We've had one snowstorm and temps in the teens for a few days. This weekend will be 40-50 which is not bad at all, but we could get more snow Sun-Mon.

Probably about the same temp as your weekend forecast maybe slightly colder as there was a slight ground frost this morning but I have just been up the garden (11.00pm) and though bracing it feels a little warmer and certainly not freezing.

No snow in our area yet has been in other parts of England.

It's sort of a little cottage, with a LOT of windows in it, so we can feel like we're living outdoors. We hope to move in sometimes between the end of December and the middle of January.

There is a small screen room on the house, too, that I really love. In the summer, one can sit in the screen room and enjoy watching the lightening-bugs, while listening to the other bug and animal sounds of the night, without the mosquitoes horning in!

Everything is going real well. I hope you and your family have been well. The Ranch you are building your home on sounds wonderful! How long will it be before you get to move into your new place?

Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Whoever photoshopped Laura's knees out of these photos did her (and us)an enormous favor!

As compared to the HildaBeast's ankles, which are too gargantuan to be photo-shopped out.

BTW...good to see you survived November 3rd, MM.

ROFLOL!!

Laura has better looking legs than any 58 year old woman should dream of having.

I'm guessing Murray Mom weighs about 300 pounds and can't even SEE her own knees..........

She's got a reputation around here of saying nothing BUT stupid things.

Haven't had the 'pleasure' of encountering her personally before, but picking Laura's legs, of all things, to ridicule, reveals a vacancy of thought that's quite remarkable, IMO.
