Kerik is for Gun Control, iirc, so how does that square with conservatism. I know nowadays being tough on crime is incompatible with liberalism but it didn't used to be that way.
Mabye Kerik is conservative in every other way but I don't know how he views other issues. I'm just sure I read he was pro gun control and when it comes to law and order, pro gun control really is incompatible with conservatism.

This is good for New York too. It's a conservative voice behind the movie stars and liberal media. Kerik speaks for many of us.
