I think we need to airlift emergency copies of "Moving On for Dummies" to these wackos before they hurt someone.

I was just lurking over at DU. Several of them are beginning to face the reality that their dreams of meaningful recounts and proving election fraud are over. Some are even demonstrating the capability for rational thought strewn with hints of logic. They are really bummed that the provisional ballots didn't dramatically close the gap and that the vote is going to be certified with a seemingly insurmountable Bush lead.

Here is my prediction. They will soon get off the election fraud bandwagon and instead throw their energy into an impeach Bush effort. It will get to the point where they will be compiling all of the reasons as to why Bush should be impeached on various blogs and frantically wondering when the "mainstream media" will begin picking up on the story. They will then profess their belief that the reason the MSM won't cover the "obvious" crimes is because the media is controlled by big corporations who are part of the sinister right-wing cabal. In the meantime, the Republican Party will most probably increase its majority in the Senate during the 2006 midterm elections, sending the left even deeper into a delirious rage. We'll then get more empty talk about vote fraud, revolutions and leaving the country. This will continue until a democrat is elected in the 2008 primary and the radical left becomes gleeful about their candidates impending victory.

I am hereby declaring that the official term for this historically verifiable phenomena shall henceforth be "the cycle."
