Sucker. Reid is as prolife as Daschle, Gephardt, Gore, Clinton or Dukakis.

First, I'm no "sucker." I would never vote for Reid. Second, it is appropriate to praise the opposition when they make some move, regardless of how slight, in the right direction.
When you demonize the opposition, it empowers them and even encourages them to behave as radically as they are inclined. But when you compliment them for moving toward your view, you will get more of the same.
Your belief that Sen. Reid is pro-life is why I said that. My point is that Senator Reid never votes pro-life when it counts. He claims he is pro-life, but he is not. All the other people I listed had established a record as pro-lifers before ascending to power. Gore even wrote the Right-to-Life amendment. The only Democratic Senators who are not solidly pro-baby-slaughtering are Sens. Ben Nelson (D-NE) and Blanche Lincoln (D-AR). Even Lincoln is less pro-life in voting than self-professed militant anti-pro-lifer Sen. Arlen Specter (R-PA).
This is not opinion. This is based on their oppose-prolifers-at-any-cost voting record.
