"Kojo Annan was paid $2,500-a-month "to prevent him from working for any of their competitors in Africa" which she described as a very competitive market." Yeah, the Nigerian email scams alone are enough to keep a scoundrel busy...

Hey folks, $2500 a month is a pittance. Are you sure the UN is not trumpeting this to deflect attention from the BILLIONS the big guys got?

Nothing in the mainstream news up here in Canada, you'd think that it was business as usual at the UN, I mean, absolutely nothing is being said about this here.

Secretary-General Kofi Annan said Monday he was "very disappointed and surprised" that his son had continued to receive payments until this February from a firm that had a contract with Iraq's oil-for-food program, the subject of numerous corruption investigations.
Cough cough, sure suprised is what they all say.
No more UN for US-list
If people want on or off this list, please let me know.

Can you say world criminal court? Let'see them administer justice to Kofi,Jr. with as much relish as they have brought to bear on others...Kofi would be certain to go scott free because he isnot American.

"What's with the "K's"? Kofi, Kojo. They have another one named Kermit?"Nah.....Kermit is a frog, not a Senegalese.

Was "Famous anus" "deeply saddened'?
To: knighthawk
Gee, Kofi, none of us are surprised. You looked a bit nervous today, answering questions. Your eyes don't want to look in the same direction.
knighthawk, CNN had good coverage on the UN yesterday. Now, that did surprise me. Better than O'Reilly.

He was answering questions about his son but it may not have been an official press conference. Not sure which channel.

How could he possibly be surprised; I'm just a Freeper down here in NC and I knew he was in it up to his chin.

Kofi said he has a "warm relationship" with his son, but didn't know what was going on. And they are claiming the son only got $2,500 a month for a few years - LOL! A Swiss company, I think they said.
We all have known for years that the UN is corrupt. Remember Senator Jesse Helms back in 1994 giving the assembly a lecture?

This sounds like BJ Klintoon apologizing for the Monica incident, i.e. I'm sorry I got caught.
