On the average, yes, homosexual Americans are wealthier and more likely to have a more extensive college education.

On average, homosexual (to use proper English) Americans get more of a free ticket through schools and careers as they and their socially confused friends (whores, lechers, et al) shunt heterosexual Americans (especially healthy men) out of work, because they use linguistic activism (e.g., abuses of words like "gay," "gender" and such rebelliousness) and other weapons against families.
