VIRGINIA BEACH — A 13-year-old boy has been charged with abducting an exotic dancer he lured to his home, police said Monday. Another suspect is being sought.

The incident happened Nov. 16, when a woman contracted as an exotic dancer arrived for a 6:30 p.m. appointment at a home in the 700 block of S. Rosemont Road, said police spokeswoman Rene Ball.

A person met her at the front door and told her to meet him at the back door. When the dancer went in, she noticed the house was vacant and had no electricity. She also realized that her client was a juvenile, Ball said.

The boy told her the dance was for his older brother. The woman waited , but no one else appeared.

As the woman tried to leave, the teen pointed a shotgun at her and ordered her to dance for him, Ball said. The woman distracted the boy and tried to call 911 on her cell phone.

The teen grabbed the phone. During the struggle, the woman bit the teen’s hand and was able to run to her car and escape. She was uninjured.

Several days after the incident, detectives identified the suspect, a 13-year-old Virginia Beach boy. He was charged on Nov. 18 with abduction by force, conspiracy and several firearms charges. He is being held at the city’s juvenile detention center.

Detectives also are seeking another juvenile who they think was involved in the abduction plan, Ball said.
