Shhh, are you talking about states rights? lol
I agree with a states right to monitor such. Not the feds having medical records.

Yeah and....Get a bad case of bronchitis in Michigan...go to the pharmacy to pick up your prescription cough medicine and get asked for your social security card AND drivers license! See a great sale on Sudafed cold medicine? Don't buy any more than 2 boxes at one time, it's illegal now (or soon will be). Big Brother is here folks.
You are correct about the pseudoephedrine. However, in Michigan, they are only legally required to identify you (with the MAPPS report) with ONE OF either the SS# or drivers license. Don't give both--just give the DL. They may not fill the Rx, as is their right, but if they say the state requires both, they are damned liars. And, if you like, I will furnish the file format for the MAPPS program on here if I can get it scanned (remodeling of my offices going on here and things are chaos, so it will take a couple of weeks before I can get to it).
If you remember, when you post it let me know. Thanks.
They can have my Viagra when they pry my cold stiff fingers off of the bottle.
People here will tell you that if you have done nothing wrong, you have nothing to worry about
lmao!!! Keep 'em stiff!
And that's not close to as bad as Mississippi Medicaid reporting with some fly-by-night group out of Florida. They actually didn't have the final specs out until more than 3 months after the old specs expired. Now THAT is money--put off payments for 3 months.
I do not trust any politician that wishes to "help me"....Democrat or Republican...Independent or Communist....

You are correct. No one would ever accuse me of being to the left of anything (until the Iraq war), but I have noticed one thing in my business: when Republicans are in office, there is much, much more regulation in the medical field. I can give many, many specifics that just dawned on me the last year or so. I don't know if that's because Republicans try to be better stewards of public money or what, but this has been happening since 1982. I hope that is the reason.
If you get a chance, it would be great if you could post the info on the MAPPS program. Also, thanks for the advice about the SS#/Drivers License thing....the pharmacist insisted it was the law, and being sick and wanting to get home, I just provided what she asked for. Funny thing is, they already had my social security info in their computer because of my insurance etc.
