Ahh, would that be Melissa Hart? I remember going to a College Republican convention several years back and "Melissa Hart" was listed on the convention program. Being a red-blooded heterosexual college-aged male, I was all excited thinking I was going to see Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina fame). This is not Kerry's son. After what Chris Heinz siad about GW Bush before the election he can stuff his political interests. He maligned our president in the cheapest way. He conducted himself as a bitter follower of Mike Moore. Senator John Heinz was a class act. Chris is a Democrat and he had better not try to reinvent himself and try for his dad's supporters because we will not fall for it. We do not need another Patches Kennedy rich boy muddling his way through politics.

Celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz has given birth aged 52.
The photographer has never said outright whether she is the lover of Susan Sontag, the American academic, who has been her long-term companion.

Actually, someone claiming to be Heinz has been posting over at the pit of voles (i.e., DU) for several months now.
If it means anything, Melissa Hart also recieved a 100% rating from the NFIB (National Federation of Independent Businessmen) She`s good for small business, good for the economy of PA. Heinz is a powerful name in the region, but what`s in a name?

Maybe that's why Kerry kept the $15M...to use for Chris' campaign! There aren't many of the big money people in Pgh. who will support Chris. Poor H.John Heinz III - he must be turning over in his grave to see what has become of his family who were such staunch Republicans. I lived in Pgh. (my hometown) when John married Teresa. Over the years she was never interested in anything philanthropic, or political. Only after John Heinz's death did she even (pretend to) care about charities. Such a phony. Early years of their marriage were very turbulant, she was/is a difficult woman. When she married John Kerry, and did not take his name, she had an employee fired for calling her Mrs. Kerry. That is a well-known fact in Pgh...people there are only nice to her because of her $$$. Basically, no one can stand her. Her son, Chris, seems to take after her, and not his father, John Heinz.
And I doubt that Teresa's Republican friends are friends any longer, and would support Chris'campaign efforts. Really, about the only one she ever could call a "friend" was Mrs. Elsie Hillman (R) who was always in charge of those big charity balls, etc. and was forced to rub elbows with Teresa because that's what the rich do. Mrs. Hillman is the former Republican National Committeewoman from the Pittsburgh area. Elsie is wife of Billionaire Henry Hillman and a cousin of Barbara Bush. Very close advisor and supporter of the Bush family. A major force (some even say "kingmaker") in the Republican Party, both locally and nationally, Hillman stepped down in 1996. She helped elect John Heinz to the House of Representatives and U.S. Senate, Richard Thornburgh and Tom Ridge as Pennsylvania governors and George Bush as president. Born in Pittsburgh in 1925 and educated at the Ellis School and Westminster College. Got into politics in 1952 as a volunteer for Eisenhower. In 1967, she was elected county chairman of the Republican Party, and in 1974, she was awarded a Distinguished Republican citation. In 1975, she was appointed to her party's National Committee. She has been involved in a number of charitable and civic organizations, including WQED Pittsburgh. On Teresa Heinz (Temporairly Kerry) Hillman said: "I don't think she's really easy to understand even for those of us who know her well, but I say that with tremendous respect."
