There are two pics, side by side,of the same conference room, taken from the same perspective..of a dais, filled with people..above them , are two pics of the Kims, and a big sign...in the second, only one pic, of the old man, and a different sign. It's a striking visual..

Here's the caption...( I'm copying from the paper)...

"In May, portraits of both Kim Il Sung, left, and Kim Jung Il hung in the People's Ciltural Center in Pyongyang, North Korea, during a North Korean Red Cross conference. I ASugust, only Kim Il SDung's portratit remained."

Got it.

Also, however, on North Korean TV last night there were plenty of references to "Great Leader" Kim Jong il, and other scenes at party conferences, military, etc. where both Father and Son's portraits were on display. So it certainly is not yet an across the board policy.....
