"Continually Wage War to Stamp Out Completely the Illegal Imports to North Korea" (Along the Chinese Border); Order by the Korean Workers Party Hamkyong North Province Division Committee, November 2003" and another "(Internal Use Only): Wage Strong War Upon the Usage and Distribution of Illegal Recordings and Publications" Order by the Workers Party Publishing House, Pyongyang, and goes on to quote the 'Great Leader Kim Jong-il who has insists that we must fight against outside influences which the Enemy seeks to introduce to our country to create opposition (i.e. counterevolutionary) thought."
Granted the documents are about a year old but do indicate troubles the North Korean authorities are having with anti-government circulars, materials, and other Western items making the rounds in the northern part of the DPRK, which may de-stabilize the regime, and also fears that North Korean government documents are being leaked out to China. It is said there is one reference is said documents to the fact that "(sic) the former Soviet bloc nations failed to prevent this type of pollution coming in, and as a result they were destabilized and brought down by the enemy".
More samples of parts of the documents:
Something is going on in North Korea. An impending overthrow? Death of Kim Jong-Il? Something else?

Document # 3 in that series just posted above, shows particular concern about compact disks ("CD") making it into North Korea.....One can see "CD" throughout the document.
This is why I love FR. I don't think any other media org is on to the N Korea situation. I've seen half a dozen posts here in the last few days. Good work, guys.
Sorry. It's all Greek to me.
I like the part that says "Partial translation to (as) follow(s)-- assistance requested from other Freepers..."
North Korean Freeper requests assistance:)
"TO SERVE MAN"
Need help with the rest...

"Sir, I confirm the coordinates of North Korea, but I can't confirm the existance of North Korea!"
How do we know these aren't forgeries created by Dan Rather?
According to this document, Christian religious materials are also getting into N. Korea. Apparently they made N. Koreans worried as much as S. Korean dramas and movies did.
I just re-read Orwell's 1984. These documents are written by someone with a working knowledge of Newspeak.
