A Chicago man has launched a website to mobilize millions of Americans to consign the American Civil Liberties Union to the "ash heap of history."
The ACLU, says the website StopThe ACLU.org, is "relentlessly and fiercely assaulting America's foundations by feverishly working through activist court systems to impose same-sex marriage and remove all vestiges of the Ten Commandments wherever they may be posted."
Nedd Kareiva says his two main goals are to send 1 million letters to the ACLU's headquarters in New York and to coordinate a march of 1 million Americans at each ACLU office in the nation.
As WorldNetDaily reported, an ACLU lawsuit against the Pentagon resulted in an agreement announced this week to ensure military bases do not sponsor Boy Scout troops.
Kareiva told WorldNetDaily in an e-mail that while there are public-interest law groups such as the American Center for Law and Justice and the Alliance Defense Fund standing up to the ACLU in court, citizens can do little apart from making financial contributions.
"In this past election," he says on his website, "the ACLU and its activist allies were sent a clear message not to tamper with the institution of marriage" with the passage of 11 out of 11 amendments defending traditional marriage.
But that didn't matter to the ACLU, Kareiva says, as litigation already is challenging measures passed in Georgia and Oklahoma.
"The ACLU wants same-sex marriage imposed upon America through radical activist judges," he says.
His website exists for one purpose, he said, "to mobilize millions of God-fearing, patriotic Americans to stand up to the ACLU agenda and consigning it to the ash heap of history (or export it to Communist regions)."
Kareiva's site shows "how the ACLU is reconstructing civilization" and outlines the agenda with information from the group itself.

Here we have another person who is out to destroy Rush Limbaugh.
Try as they may through rumor, innuendo, prosecution and now an attempt to consign to the ash heap of history the one American organization that has stood b Rush Limbaugh during his legal struggle.

The ACLU has a far extreme left-wing, anti-christian, anti-traditional american culture, anti-constitutional, anti-law-and-order agenda.
They defend folks like Limbaugh because it gives them cover as they spend the rest of their time attacking the laws and traditions of the U.S. using false history, bald faced lying and much sophistry.
The ACLU was founded for a good purpose, and occasionally does something good, mainly for the PR, I suspect.
But they have been hijacked by leftists and 99.9% of their activities are now malign.
They spend far more time and money attacking religion and pushing abortion and sexual perversion than they spend on defending individual freedoms against government abuse, which is supposed to be their main mission.
Wouldn't it be better to go after the judges that support and uphold the actions they bring. Anyone can file with a court, it is the court that must be upright with the American people.
Once it actually defended the US Constitution....but that was very long ago in a very different America.
The ACLU is a blackmailer. For many, all they have to do is threaten a lawsuit and folks back down from what they know is right. Even the Mafia does some "decent" things to put on a good face to the public. It's a mistake to think that one good thing here or there makes up for the constant chipping away at American values. They're smart, no doubt about it.
How predictably hyperbolic. No one that I've heard of at the ACLU is advocating removing the 10 Commandments from 'wherever they may be posted'. This kind of tripe ought to be emabarassing to clear-minded folks on the right.
Hyperbolic? True. Maybe even predictably so. Nevertheless, ACLU's record speaks for itself whatever the over the top rhetoric of its opponents, and whatever the good folks at the ACLU, many of them very nice people, with children and dogs, no doubt, whatever they say that you have heard. After all, you'll hear the good folks at the CPUSA say they are for all the good things and against the bad ones too. And People for The American Way, are, why, "people for the American way, ain't they tho?
Several emergency rooms have closed in LA county. Of course there are explanations for why this is happening, but, eight hundred thousand dollars would be a great start to fixing the problems. The ER's being closed serve the poorest areas of Los Angeles. The schools are also terribly run down. That money could be a big help to them too.
You'd think the residents there would be outraged at this HUGE waste of money over such a petty issue. The tiny cross has been there for years. It's absolutely ridiculous.
I guess we can say that the ACLU is placing the burden of it's anti-Christian agenda on the backs of the poor.
Maybe this plan of sending them a million letters will work. I don't know much about the law, but I wonder why Christian and Jewish religious organizations can't get together and file a class action law suit against the ACLU? Sue them for discrimination and harassment.
