I agree. Her family was and is her strength.

I, for one, do not see Condi in terms of color or gender. She is the person for the job, period. I was under the impression that most people have grown beyond the ignorantly backward biased thinking of the past. After seeing the cartoons and reading about the constant references to her race, I now realize that we, as a country, still have a long way to go.

Shame, shame, shame to those cartoonists, writers, and commentators. And, God bless Condi Rice. I am proud that she will be representing our country.Go Condi!

We are constantly subjected to liberal demeaning, negative attitudes which encompass everything in our lives. Although the media does not permit Americans to witness the conservative political sector, the glimpses we secure are common in one respect, each displays a confident individual, unconcerned about personal gain, seeking only the improvement of their country. These qualities are manifested in religious beliefs upon which confidence is never an uncertainty. They don't lie, cheat, steal, suppress..., they are warm and genuine God fearing people. Other than the fact that it's been filled, you could grab her second cousin, Constance "Connie" Rice. She's Harvard educated and interested in education reform. She's a bit of a lefty-- but more like Bill Cosby on education. We'd get the good Rice genes in two Cabinet posts, anyhow.
