You should be checking to see if it is in fact historically accurate. Many years ago, Eisner hired a Commie who worked diligently to get anything historic or patriotic out of Disneyland. His first target was getting rid of the talking abraham Lincoln. I would doubt anything done under Eisner's regime.

It was historically accurate as to the plot of the film. Nothing more. It was just a pure adventure escapism movie I recommend it.

Disney's Lincoln robot was a pioneering effort, developed for the 1964 World Fair in New York. See "Audio-Animatronics," by Paul F. Anderson, Persistence of Vision, volumes #6/#7,

Also, I'm not sure that the Lincoln display is gone yet. According to this Disneyland link, it might still be there:

In any case, it is, after all, 40 year old technology, and the last time I saw it at Disneyland, several years ago, it seemed rather deserted, so I am not sure I would blame Eisner for pulling it... even DisneyLand has to make a profit, and nothing it provides as a profit-making venture should create a public liability for itself... (Or, perhaps I am missing something?)
