I'd say the list is somewhat deceptive. I don't see anything about the tonnage of paperwork processed and the number of man hours that consumes.

Thanks for what all you guys do. I however must wonder just what the numbers would be if the Bush admin types would loosen the shackles they've clamped on you all a bit, to allow you all to do what you are paid to do and what the overwhelming majority of legal Americans want and expect.

Your welcome.

We could do a allot more, but Washington and the open borders / Hispanic /hate-America / pro-criminal activist will never allow it.

Y'all are cracking down.

Coming back through the checkpoint at Falfurrias last week, I spent thirty minutes in the line.
This stop normally requires three or four minutes.

Keep up the good work, MI!
You guys are the front lines.

It's simply impossible to protect Americans from another 911 without implementing immigration security measures."

Families of 911 Victims Launch Ad Campaign Urging Senator Rockefeller to Keep Immigration Security Measures in 911 Bill

http://www.aiada.org/article.asp?id=25724

WASHINGTON, Oct. 21 /U.S. Newswire/ -- 911 Families for a Secure America launched an ad campaign today in West Virginia encouraging Senator Rockefeller to keep immigration security measures in 911 anti-terrorist legislation. The West Virginia ads are part of a larger campaign being launched in states across the country represented by Senate Conferees on 911security legislation. Other Senators selected for the campaign are Lieberman (Conn.), Graham (Fla.) and Levin (Mich.). The ads feature Peter Gadiel, father of 911 World Trade Center victim, Jamie Gadiel. More ads are scheduled to launch today.

Both the House and Senate recently passed 911 bills, but there are major differences between the two. Senate and House Conferees are currently attempting to reconcile those differences with the goal of signing 911security legislation into law before election day. Conferees could complete negotiations as early as this weekend.

The 60-second radio commercials chastise the Senate for creating a 911 bill that ignores immigration specific reform recommendations of the 911 Commission.

Peter Gadiel remarked, "Many in the Senate are treating the 911 Commission Report as a work of fiction. If the Senate had no intention of listening to the recommendations, they should never have wasted the Commission's time or taxpayers' money. It's simply impossible to protect Americans from another 911 without implementing immigration security measures."

The commercials call attention to the fact that the House version of the 911 bill includes many important immigration protections and suggests Senators should keep the House immigration provisions in the final 911 bill.

The commercials conclude with Gadiel asking listeners to call their Senators and tell them to "keep House immigration protections in the 911 bill, so that more Americans don't end up like my son Jamie."

Tell me something, MI. Do you fear the threat of radical Islam forming in Mexico? I was just doing some search on that and MANY hispanics are converting to Islam, both in Mexico and the US. One article quoted a Mexican who said they are always confused with Arabs because of wearing the garb.

Here's a sample:

I was just checking out muslims in Mexico. There are 13 cities with Mosques and they are converting along with many hispanics in the USA as well, mostly in the So. Cal. area.

Muslims make effort to welcome Hispanic `reverts'

BY IRA J. HADNOT
The Dallas Morning News

http://www.fortwayne.com/mld/newssentinel/7130976.htm
-snip-

Espinoza is one of a growing number of Hispanics who
are leaving Catholicism for Islam, for Protestant
churches, for other faith traditions - or who are
dropping out of any religious practice. Exact numbers
are impossible to come by, but some national Latino
Muslim associations claim "reverts," their term for
converts, in the "tens of thousands."

In the Dallas area, officials estimate there are at
least 100 to 150 Latino Muslims - and they say the
number is probably much higher. Some people, they say,
consider themselves Muslim even if they don't visit a
mosque regularly.

Andrew Greeley, the well-known Catholic sociologist
and author, estimates that 60,000 to 100,000 Hispanics
in the United States leave the Catholic Church
annually.

Yes, and it' worst then you know.

A prime example would be some of the "Mexicans" the INS/DHS has apprehended in the past. Just like people becoming "Naturalized" citizens in the US, the same happens in Mexico.

I know for a fact, then some of the Mexican citizens we have apprehended entering illegally are in fact born in the Middle East and immigrated to Mexico and became Mexican citizens.
