See my comments in post 1540.
I thought I heard another "dig" from W, I don't know if anybody else agrees with me. He said that the Clinton's greatest achievement was the wonderful daughter, Chelsea. Now, if I'd been president for 8 years and had been desperately seeking a legacy, I'd want to hear a little bit more about my great achievements, beyond raising a daughter. Maybe I'm wrong about that, but it seemed like faint praise to me.
I don't think he went too far, however. His comments were on how they loved Chelsea, how he was a good politician (he was), how he had compassion, and how he knew policy very well. All of those things are true, and none absolve him of the terrible harm he did to this country.
I can guarantee you that the democrats did not see that speech as an endorsement by President Bush. Six minutes of innocuous comments in the middle of that fiasco is not worth getting upset about, nor arguing. I doubt that the President will be appearing with Cinton again, unless Clinton shuffles off this mortal coil in the next few years.
President Bush is one of the few people I have ever known of who actually lives his faith. When he was converted, he really took the words of our Lord seriously. That is why he will not do what so many people wish. He is following the Lord's commands.
I realize it is very frustrating, but I am always reminded that the Lord is the one who will judge.
The mills of God grind slowly, but they grind exceedingly fine.
What happened yesterday...........six minutes of VERY faint praise in the midst of a total trainwreck of an event.........is not worth anyone's precious emotional energy.
There are too many REAL things to worry about. Real threats. Real enemies. Real deceit and duplicity from the left.
Being exercised about yesterday's Presidential protocal and politeness is a waste of time and energy. The 'new tone' is a direct result of who the President IS, and it's not going to change because of griping from the peanut gallery....
That Clinton: What a ham, what a sham.
Did you notice Clinton did a body-language thing,
when he said "I've made some mistakes" in the interview
with Peter Jennings! He touched his nose right after
saying those words.. That means he was lying.
He has no regret, no shame, and he HATES those
American's who sought his impeachment.
That's scary. Bill Clinton would feel righteous
in a little revenge, don't you think?
Am just reading this thread today. Look at your doppler now. What a difference a day makes. That Texas toadstrangler seems to have cleared the state of Arkansas now.
What miserable conditions for all those people to have to endure for such a circus.
The Democrats should RUN from the Clinton Legacy.
Their Wonder-Boy is nothing but a shell,
his wicked-and-immoral insides oozing out
for all of us to see.
No one has been 'rehabilitated' here.
It was an opening of a library, for goodness sakes.
Don't make it the end of the world here.
That is neat.
excellent post STARWISE... I have that and I should read it more HAHAHAHHAHAHHA
thankx
HAHAHAHHAHA
hey pal!
good posts, all of them :)
Chelsea's headlights are on and it looks like Billy Jeff is gonna get lucky later on.
I just saw the clip of the Clinton interview with Jennings...Clinton is such a narcissist..and in so much denial...He was MAD!..poor pitiful persecuted Bill.
As Krauthammer says..Its all about him..and the applause..Clinton needs adoration...and will never admit his disgracing the Office of the President.
Thank God we have a decent , honorable man as President now.
Amen, MEG! Amen!
I half expected a traveling salesman to hop up on the stage and begin selling something right there on the stage at that "circus" of a Library Opening!
