I am really a big Rick Santorum fan. When I worked on Capital Hill he was such a nice and passionate guy, and always kind to me. I am a little dissapointed by this, but maybe Specter will step up and let the monkey business slide.

So let me get this straight...we hate it when Sens. Collins, Specter, Snowe, and Chaffe don't take the party line and instead take a stand based on their principles...but we also hate it when Santourum sticks to the party line and abandons his principles. I don't get it...its right sometimes, but not others?
Sen. Santorum is our best ally in the Senate, if he thinks Specter will be an acceptable choice I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Of course, one would have to actually believe what Spectre is saying in order to believe he is helping.

First of all, the story is from MSNBC. so I don't believe it. It sounds like a set-up to Burn Santorum... I want confirmation.
from 2 other reliable sources.

Give me a freaking break. Santorum would be a complete idiot to try and keep the Senior Senator from his state out of a committee post.
Get your head out of your behind and wake up. Is your end goal simply to get rid of Specter or get good judges? Which is it? The wrong one could be very costly.
