CNN had a banner at the bottom of the screen that said "movin' on up" ala that television show about a black man; I've forgotten the name of the show.



It was the Jefferson's. About a black family digging their self's out of the poverty.

They weren't exactly po' back in '72 or whenever when George and Ouizy moved in next door to Archie Bunker to be a perpetual thorn in his side. The Jeffersons was not really a "black" comedy so much as a "nouveau riche" comedy which is probably why it became as big a hit as the show it spun off from.
