These pics are typical, although he usually avoids the suit and even the jacket & tie

I won't waste my time taking a look at him (or any candidate) until he hires a top shelf campaign manager and finance chairman.

It's sorta like betting on horse races. The best jockeys ride the best horses. The best horses are trained by the best managers.

There will be a slew of "vanity" candidates in 2008 who have no chance of winning and don't bother even hiring a good campaign manager. Losers are a waste of time.

"Eeh, Mitt's OK, but I question how conservative the guy actually is. I think he is more so than people think, they assume since he's from Massachusetts that he's another Pataki or Chaffee, but I dunno. He was born in Utah, so that might mean something."

Mitt's got the same problem as Kerry, but in reverse. He ran as a moderate to win in Massachusetts (just short of being a RINO), and now is going to have to run to the right to win nationally as a Republican.

We will benefit greatly from running somebody with a strong, CONSISTENT position on the issues. As of today, Mitt is a pro-choice, pro-gay-rights fiscal conservative. I don't think Mitt is that guy. He does have a very successful business background, and a very photogenic family.

Sanford is single?

I volunteer to be his first lady!

But seriously, I'm waiting to see who surfaces as a viable candidate for pres in '08 and see what his/her stance is on certian issues like Stem cell research and abortion (he/she must be pro-life to get my vote)

But that's not to say that the above mentioned issue is the only issue I vote on.

But if Sanford's looking for a companion of the female persuasion, I'm single ans almost 48! :0)

He looks presidential enough.

He's only 44 as well, so he has youth appeal (he'll of course be 48 by the time the next election comes around).

Ah!

I guess my irreverant homur was not appreciated, but I was serious about the pro-life issue and waiting for a really viabl candidate appears but it's only been 2 weeks since President Bush was re-elected and I feel it's too early for me to even think about 2008 for right now, I'll be more serious about a year from now. but to tell the truth, I find none of the ones mentioned right now not appealing because they are all pro-choice.

It's a pity since I like some of them for different reasons.
