Abortion was never even an option for me. I knew I carried an innocent life within me. I also knew how it got there in the first place. I made my "choice" on the night of conception. The whole abortion thing makes me very very sad. How can anyone murder a baby? I wasn't equipped or ready to be a single mother, and my boyfriend was way gone as soon as I told him I was pregnant. The only child I'll ever have, is the one I gave away. He'll be 26 this month. I still think of him and pray for him. I hope he's ok.

What a heartfelt story. Have you thought about trying to contact him? I'll bet you have thought about him everyday of your life. Perhaps that is why some women have abortions instead of giving birth and allowing their child to live and go to a good home. They think that if they kill it, they will never have to think about it again. How selfish. And how many of them have regrets for their whole life?

Thanks for sharing you story, Lori. I am sure you are in his thoughts, too, and he is grateful for being given the gift of life.
