I'm guessing that Arafat and Carter have the same level of admiration for the USA. Actually, I think I heard Arafat heap praise on the US once, so I guess I'm wrong about that.

I have said on several occasions that Clinton was even worse than Carter. I think it is now a toss up.

Both Carter and Arafat are Noble Prize Laureates!
Why any self-respecting person would ever accept this worthless gesture again is beyond me.

Former US President Jimmy Carter calls Arafat a "powerful human symbol Well, he's sort of right. Just depends on what he means by the word "symbol". Like, for instance...
This is a the symbol I think of when I think of the terrorist Arafat.

Yes, Arafat is a powerful human symbol of evil.
Carter is a powerful human symbol of failure himself.

I'm with you-----soon he'll be suggesting Michael Moore for the peace prize.
I think Carter has gone bonkers.

Former President Jimmy Carter is an idiot!
I know, all of you knew that. I just took a break from packaging up snacks to send to troops on the other side of the globe. Seeing Jimmy Carter's name in this context, wrapped up with that terrorist, on Veterans Day, while my heart is in all these packages I'm wrapping up warps my good feelin's. :-)

Both Carter and Arafat are Nobel peace prize laureates. Kinda makes you wonder if they should change the name of this prize to something like Nobel worst prize.
