Happy Veterans Day to our beloved soldiers.

Our local Wal Mart has a book where we can leave messages for our soldiers.

Iraqi hostages found in Falluja

US-led troops involved in fighting against insurgents in the Iraqi city of Falluja have found four imprisoned men believed to be Iraqi hostages.

Three of the men were contractors working for the US military, a US marines spokesman said, and the fourth said he was a taxi-driver.

All of the men had been beaten and starved and were wearing handcuffs.

US-led forces say they have rid more than 70% of the the city of insurgents in the battle, which began on Tuesday.

He has gone on to his reward, and if anybody has earned such a reward, he is the man.

I'm not adept at linking but it's right under this thread in "Breaking News". And Fox just covered the story. The man is an Iraqi taxi driver who was imprisoned and chained for 10 days by the terrorists.

Great News, seems they may have found three more.
I can only imagine the (hopefully)soul deep relief and gratitude this man must be feeling. Some one posted that the man was in tears while an American Solider sat beside of him. Seems to me to be appropriate image of what it's all about. The soldier who delivers the beaten and starved and stands guard while we cry tears of relief and gratitude. (forgive the crudeness, but also while we get our s**t together).

General Myers (Chief of Staff) was on Good Morning America this morning, and Diane Sawyer did her damndest to shine a negative light on this battle. Myers did a pretty good job of deflecting her negativism.
