Rock Hill, SC -- Police in Rock Hill say a student was assaulted because of who her parents voted for last week.

Police say a seventh grade girl asked a sixth grade girl at Sullivan Middle School in Rock Hill who her parents voted for.

When she said, "Bush", she was assaulted.

A teacher was also assaulted trying to stop the fight.

Police charged the girl with two counts of assault and battery and disturbing schools.

Which girl was charged?

Was it the assailant, or was it the victim?

Used to be that would not be considered a serious question but in this PC world, it really has to be asked.

A "progressive" & "enlightened" public school perhaps?

Folks this is serious stuff!

As serious as a white kid wearing a KKK robe and showing up at an inner city school.

This is what the left has pushed as a HATE CRIME.
I want the little bastard prosecuted for it.

GIVE NO QUARTER!

If you disturb them with 25 rounds of 20 mm target ammo, then yes. But otherwise it does seem an odd offence.

Don't be silly. The Bush girl will be given a light fine and sent to diversity/tolerance training classes before being re-assigned to a more progressive set of parents.

Well it's obvious, isn't it? The victim should be charged because she started it when she offended the assailant with her mother's Bush vote.

i wonder if charges would be dropped if it could be shown that the school was "deeply saddened" instead of disturbed...

a double dose of ritalin ought to cure it.

If I ever write that sentence it will be followed by another that ends: "...then we went out later that night and fed the pieces to the gators"

I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, to learn that a Democrat could be this intolerant in Rock Hill.

As usual, all thefts, assaults, murders, arsons, and treason
by any Democrat or their families is A-OK.

I am shocked - as a former resident of Rock Hill (and PTA- involved in the 70's) this is so depressing.

They should be charging the principal, this school seems very disturbing.
