Prayer Request for FReeper's Husband
Knak's Wife
| November 8, 2004

Knak had previously requested prayer for her beloved husband. He has liver cancer, and his kidneys have failed. She learned this morning that this failure is permanent and that he will be coming home to spend his last days with his family. She has asked for prayer that he will peacefully be ushered into the Presence of the Lord, and for wisdom in telling their 9-year-old son.

Heavenly Father, we return with gratitude that You are the Good Shepherd and that You lead Your children in the way they should go. Thank You, Merciful Father, for shepherding knak and her son during this time of sorrow. May Your hand rest mightily upon knak's husband as he nears the end of his earthly days. Though his home going will be profoundly joyful for him, his loved ones will grieve the loss of his presence. May they be persuaded that nothing can separate us from the Love of God through Christ Jesus our Lord, and that their dear husband and father is not gone, but gone before. In the Name of Jesus, Amen ...

You and your son are so loved by our Father. When the hurt rushes in, let the this love in to counter that ache and lift you and your little one up.
I stand with Pegita (whose petitions to our Father often cause me to weep in agreement) and will be holding you and yours up to our Father.
God Bless all of you, with overflowing comfort, strength, faith, love and a full measure of joyful memories.

Our Loving Savior, we Lift our voices in Thanksgiving for the Strength You are Giving daily to our Knak and her son, and we Ask that Your Eternal Love will Undergird and Support them every moment of every day. Supply all their needs, O King of saints, out of the Rich Storehouse of Resources You have Treasured up for them in Christ.
We Praise You, Sovereign Father, for Your Hand of Gracious Mercy that Abides Eternally over Knak's husband, and we Thank You for Imparting to him the Comfort and Consolation of Your Loving Spirit of Grace. We Thank You for Holding him in the Palm of Your Caring Hand, and Commit him to our Heavenly Father Who Loves him so. We Adore You, O God, and Pray in Your Holy Name, amen.

Dear Lord,
Please bless Kelly and her son.
Comfort them.

passes all our earthly understanding.
Dear Lord,
Thank you for Jerry.
Thank you for his life and the life
he had with his family.
Jerry was a special blessing.
Lord, hear our prayers, please.
We humbly ask this in Jesus' Holy name.

Heavenly Father, we return with tears of sorrow, yet with grateful hearts that this beloved husband and father was able to enjoy the comfort of his earthly home before joining You in his Heavenly Home. His journey of joy has begun, while his family begins their journey of grief. Walk with them, O God, that they not be lonely ... talk with them, O God, that they might be encouraged. Surround them with the Comfort of Your Presence and the assurance of Your Word ... "for where I am, there you will be also." John 14:3. In the Name of Jesus, Amen ...
