...Storm Into Two Fallujah Neighborhoods
AP
NEAR FALLUJAH, Iraq Nov 8, 2004 Thousands of U.S. Marines and Army troops punched their way on Monday into two Fallujah neighborhoods where insurgents are considered the strongest, kicking off a massive assault that seeks to put an end to half a year of insurgent control of the Sunni Muslim city.
The troops, backed by the 1st Cavalry Division's tanks and armor, swarmed into the city's northwestern Jolan district, the warren-like historic heart of Fallujah.
At the same time, some 4,000 troops went into the northeastern Askari district.

American troops fought their way into the western outskirts of Fallujah on Monday, seizing a hospital and two bridges over the Euphrates River in the first stage of a major assault on the insurgent stronghold. Your photo demonstrates how much the AP and the terrorists work hand in hand.
Anyone else find it amazing how "reporters" are able to get so close to the enemy with impunity?
Fox News Alert: Operation Phantom Fury has begun.
Called Operation Phanton Fury. It is underway. Started about 25 minutes ago.
Prayers for our brave military in this major battle.
They have embedded reporters too! bwahahahahaha
MV
You don't need a "reporter" to snap and transmit a photograph. They likely have an Iraqi freelancer who is paid for his photographs.
What are the chances those guys, with no bulletproof jackets, just their feet or a pickup to drive around, etc. have any possibility of winning? If in a losing fight, they have to run away. If in a winning fight, they won't have enough ammo to press their advantage.
I give those 4 thugs a 1 in 5 shot they live through the week.
Praying for our troops
"Can't touch this...It's Hammer time!"
Operation STOMP Wahabi Ass.
Our thoughts are with our troops and hope they will bring a swift end to the terorists who are hiding there. I also hope our Iraqi allies perform well in their duties, if they do, it will be a major step forward in our attempts to rid the country of the Jihadis who have went there to fight us. I also hope that scum Zarqawi hasn't fled yet and we take him out, but I fear just like his mentor Osama, he will probably run and hide.
LMAO
