Who will get Arafat's millions? Wife is fighting Palestinian officials for assets, Arab TV reports

Ramallah, West Bank -- The wife of Yasser Arafat was locked in a bitter dispute with Palestinian officials over the fate of his vast secret fortune as the Palestinian leader lay apparently near death in a French hospital, according to a report on the Arab TV network Al-Jazeera.

Arafat's secret assets have been estimated at anywhere between $200 million (Forbes magazine) and $6 billion (U.S. and Israeli intelligence). Forbes listed him ninth in its ranking of the world's wealthiest heads of state -- even though he is a ruler without a country and many of his people are refugees.

In Paris, the struggle over Arafat's hidden millions threatened to overshadow his final days. His wife, Suha Arafat, hopes to inherit at least part of his fortune. But, according to Al-Jazeera, Palestinian leaders demand that it be handed over to the Palestinian people.

The assets are managed in a complex network of bank accounts, holding companies and stocks whose details are known only to his closest confidant, financial adviser Mohammed Rashid.

Suha Arafat has access to some of the money, but apparently even she does not know all the ins and outs of the secret accounts. Al-Jazeera reported that she asked Rashid to make out a list of Arafat's assets and that he refused, saying he would report only to the Palestinian Authority.

Calling Arafat a 'swine' is very insensitive ...

More sad than fun, as we all know this money is going to end up being used to finance terror one way or another. I think every family that lost someone in a suicide bombing during Arafat's reign ought to be getting some cash.

Limbaugh touched on this Friday. The skunks know Arafat buried the UN, US and Euro gold somewhere and they need it... bad!

Ammo and explosives ain't cheap and even the customary shooting-in-the-air, an exercise of scumbag unity, costs money.

These monkey's aren't 'gonna quit until they've used-up all their funding. Even then, they'll never recognize Israel.

They have been weaned on Israeli blood... and they love it!

The world's AIDS organizations are also clamoring for their take of the dead gay terrorist's loot.

You may just have something there, I could see hordes of
Israeli lawyers swarming over the border to Switzerland,
they could tie up this money for years!

That's why the wife should just have his wealth. Why give it to the foolish Palestinian people who haven't had this money so far --- they're stupid --- they've been convinced by men like Arafat that the Jews are to blame for their poverty, meanwhile Arafats live in a 5 star hotel in Paris? The wife and daughter can really make better use of the money --- they'll live it up in luxury but at least not use it for killing innocent people.

Too bad for her --- she could have the life of a billionaire's widow if she can figure this out ---- the Palestinians definitely don't deserve the money, their victims' families do but won't get it.

One thing is for sure. If she does get the billions, she'll end up as Suha Arafat-Kerry.

Palestinian leaders demand that it be handed over to the Palestinian people.

Translation:

Palestinian leaders demand that it be handed over to themselves. They would then place most of it in their private accounts, and use a very small amount for mass murder.

I'm all for privacy in banking, but mass murderers should be exceptions. Every penny should be handed over to a fund for Israeli children.

All the money should go to the devastated families that have been victims of Arafat's vile butchers.

If she does get the billions, she'll end up as Suha Arafat-Kerry.

If she starts to get close, she ends up dead. Remember who shes trying to get the money away from.

And we have another contestant for Arafart's stolen money.
