awarded $1.1 million by the US Department of Justice to continue testing a safer personalized weapon.

What a waste. I have a 100% safe gun in my home that cost about $400 in 1991. It never ever jumps up shooting by itself.

Think of all the meals that could have been prepared for homeless people with that much money.

I think they spent the money on the right thing, imagine a gun that if stolen by a criminal cannot be used and then the criminal has to resort to using his previous firearm, knife or vehicle to kill whomever, it might even mean that he has to buy non-smart guns with an IQ of less than 70.
