I just took a peek at Mount St. Helens Volcano Cam and was surpised by an image of steaming or smoke coming out. I have been unable to get a clear view for several days now because the image was all fogged up.
There were no news reports that I could find posted yet today.
Take a peek if you are curious.
What ever. Oh, well . . .
"Is Mount St. Helens Blowing Steam Today ?"
No, that's John Edwards.
It's been steaming continuously for weeks now as the dome-building continues. Nothing changed today. Of course, it's now cloudy basically 3 days out of 4.
Is was spouting off steam yesterday, too. Beautiful day to watch the volcano cam!
Sorry I thought you meant Helen Thomas. I am actually waiting for her rant.
No, just the hot air being let out of Terry Mcauliffe.
Wash. State dems just dropped those provisional ballots into the caldron. They decided they didn't need them afterall.
Thimgs might be building to a head up there in the dome. I hope the local TV stations notice this and fly their helicopters around the mountain for some good close-ups today. I haven't seen pics of the dome up close for a couple of weeks.
I've been watching the cam since sunrise, there is definitely a different color to it, beige or brownish. Since it is quite cool here today, I would expect if it was steam, it would rise almost straight up, but it seems to be going over the crater rim and falling.
So I think it has a heavy ash content today. Visibility shoyld be good for the next 48 hours or so.

Mnt. St. Helens, Eruption in Iceland, Quakes in Japan - there are just signs of the fires of hell being stoked up for the new guest - Yasser Arafat.
it looked like brown smoke too... when I heard about the volcano erupting in Iceland today.. I first thought it was MSH...
Naw!!!...that was Mount Saint Patty Murray realizing she can go back to sleep now!...
Hot rocks, cold air. Figure it out.
Mount St. Helens erupted with a plume of steam and ash on November 1st in this view looking north towards the mountain with Mt. Rainier in the background.
Mt. Rainier is Bigger than her much smaller sister near Oregon.
